Wow, I haven't written in a while. How's everyone doing? I love this time of year, except for, you know, the part where you freeze to death faster than usual on high-altitude patrols.

And what about that chaos, huh? I turned into an assassin, so for days, no one noticed me until I talked to them, and then they pretty much jumped out of their skin. It was kind of funny, but skulking gets uncomfortable after a while, you know? Everyone thought I was up to something shady, too, and how silly is that? I mean, this is me we're talking about! [filtered away from Tanith] Think the Deputy Commander will believe that, or was I laying it on a little too thick?

AUGH! My stupid chowderheaded brother went and got himself in debt again, and then he ran away (again!) because APPARENTLY whoever he ripped off this time has hatchet men out the yazoo. I wanted to go looking for him (again) but Tanith wouldn't give me leave (again) and I don't ever want to see her as mad as she was the last time... But... He just never learns! I wish I could give up on him.

I did manage to slip out for a while, but I didn't find anything, and when I came back, everything was crazy! There's two of everyone and I can't tell who's who. It's kind of funny... But if there's two of Makalov, I'll scream.
